As summer unfolds, bringing longer days and opportunities to slow down, this edition of Ch@t reflects the life, faith and fellowship that continue to flourish across our benefice.

Inside you'll find inspiring stories from our churches, school and community groups, celebrations of baptisms and family life, reflections on faith in today's world, and a look back at the many ways people have served others through the years. We also celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Mothers' Union with personal memories that remind us of the lasting impact of friendship, service and Christian witness.

There is plenty to look forward to over the coming weeks, including Godparent Sunday, the Patronal Walk to St Arilda's Well, Mothers' Union celebrations, concerts, family activities and community events. Whether you are a regular member of our congregations, a visitor, or simply picking up Ch@t for the first time, we hope these pages help you discover something of the warmth, welcome and vibrant life of our churches.
