As we step gently from the joy of Christmas into the promise of a new year, we do so with hearts full of gratitude. Across our benefice, the Christmas season has once again revealed the richness of our shared life: churches filled with candlelight and song; children learning, crafting and celebrating through Hopscotch, Dads and Kids and Refresh!; neighbours gathering to sing carols in the cold; generous hands preparing Christingles, gifts, food and warmth for those in need. So much quiet faithfulness has gone into making these moments possible. From choirs, clergy and volunteers, to knitters, organisers, bakers, donors and those who simply showed up with encouragement and kindness - thank you. Together, you have shown something of God’s love made visible in community. Thank you!
