Godparent Sunday Invitation – All Age Celebration Service

Join us for a joyful All Age Service on Sunday 12 July 2026 at 10:30am at St Mary’s Church, Castle Street, Thornbury (BS35 1HQ).

This special event is a warm invitation to families and godparents to return and reconnect following Baptism services. The 45-minute celebration will be full of joy, laughter, music, storytelling, and prayer, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

The service will include songs, reflections, and a short message, before finishing with a celebratory party featuring snacks and refreshments. Families will also have the opportunity to add their thumbprint to the historic Baptism tree, marking their place in the church community.
